Gender Reveal & Bumpdate: 27 weeks !

Hey Everyone!

So I wanted to do a Gender reveal post! Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the cake we used to reveal the news to some of our family members...but the one below if much cuter anyways!!!

We have a 23 month old girl at home right now. I feel happy that she is going to have a little sister so close in age to grow up with, tell her secrets too ( along with telling me...right??) and be best friends with (when they are not pulling each others hair and stealing clothes :)

Thought I'd take this opportunity to also do a Bumpdate since I haven't done one in awhile! So this will be my 27 Week Bumpdate!



Size of the baby?
The size of a head of Cauliflower 16 inches 2.5 Lbs

Total Weight Gain/Loss?
About 24lbs. Yikes...with 12 weeks to go... i need to be careful!
Maternity Clothes?
Basically all Maternity Clothes now. Found some cute tops at H&M on sale! score! (Just realized, aside from the jeans in the picture above, the rest is lose fitting regular clothes from my closet.... so maybe it's still a mix :)

Stretch marks?
None yet… Using Josie Maran Argan Oil
 
Best Moments?
Did the 3D UltraSound this week

Movement?
SUPER active now... let my toddler feel the baby kick:)

Food Cravings?
Booster Juice. Strawberry Sunrise..dammit, now I want one!

Anything making you queasy or sick?
Chicken if it's too juicy...gag

What I miss?
Wearing all my clothes !

Nausea/Vomiting?
None.

Symptoms?
Starting out my Third trimester..the aches are starting to set in.. sleeping with the pregnancy pillow is a MUST for me..

Labor signs?
No.

Gender?
GIRL

Belly Button In or Out?
Innie
Wedding rings On or Off?
Still on!

Sleep?
So sleepy all the time! Been lucky as DD #1 has been sleeping well these days (knock on wood) so i have been getting good rest

What I'm looking forward to?
Setting up the new Nursery room! I'm totally in "nesting phase" Can't decide between pretty and feminine vs cute and baby ish....

  1. Oh congrats my love! It's gonna be a girl! I'd defo do her nursey as pretty and feminine, take a few pictures and show it to your daughter when she's older to explain why she's such a classy lady ;) xo

  12. Yes that is an amazing cake!! I decided to do a gender reveal cake, but employed the wrong people to do it. The person who did it had NO idea what a gender reveal cake was even after explaining it to her! On top of the cake, she wrote "It's a..." in BLUE icing with BLUE marzipan footies. Unbelievable! I had to hide the cake from my husband until the reveal time. Congratulations on your pregnancy btw! Babies are such a blessing!
